  Hi, I am Justin, and I am studying in a small IB. world school. I think media and technology plays a really important role. I pretty much using the internet to finish my homework and use it to watch the news. I usually get the important events from the media, so I think media is a positive role because it can tell us a lot of truths and something is bad in the society.   Through the Greenpeace "Dove Onslaught(er)" commercial, this is my first time knew that Dove's products had to cut down so many trees. I think the audience is with the people who use Dove's product and wants them to stop using it. "Beauty on your own terms" this commercial is the way to let people buy Drove's products and I think the audience is with the people who haven't known or bought before. "Own Your Individuality" this one is kind of similar to the "Beauty on your own terms", they both talks to women and trying to let them know what is important.

Political Cartoon Analysis

The Washington Times, The Washington Times, www.washingtontimes.com/cartoons/immigration/ What I can see from this cartoon is some people are trying to get in America in a very violent way. The donkey says: " Let them in, They are nonviolent." it is very not true that we can see there are some people broke the door. They represent the evil side. On the surface, I can see that uncle sam is not happy with them but I believe he is not happy with it. We all know that Many and many people were trying to immigrate to America and the author is trying to tell us the truth from the past or present. T he Democratic party seems very happy to see them and he is trying to convince uncle sam. The cartoonist conveys the messages that The Democratic party is playing a role of the liar. Because the fact is totally opposite to what he says, those people use their fists and legs to get into the room and the donkey says they come in a nonviolent way.
